The iRiver Clix 2 is another fantastic refinement of iRiver’s brilliant U10 media player. It’s the device which debuted the ‘Direct Click’ functionality, which re-wrote the rules on how you interact with a media player. This media player is so intuitive that even a least technically savvy user will be able pick up the player and start using it from the word ‘go’.
Clix 2 expands on the U10 in every direction, but most notably in it’s use of AMOLED technology for the player display. AMOLED is a new technology that removes the traditional backlit LCD displays seen on most other MP3 players. Instead, the pixels themselves emit light, as opposed to LCD which has a colour mask over a backlight. This technology gives an incredible brightness with a huge viewing angle – and it looks pretty cool as well. The screen on the Clix 2 measures 2.2 inches and displays 320 X 240 pixels making it pin-sharp as well.
iRiver haven’t stopped there, the Clix 2 is probably the best sounding MP3 player that you can get your hands on today. That’s a pretty bold claim by iRiver but they’re so confident that you’ll agree when you hear it. It’ll play a wide variety of file formats (including OGG and DRM protected WMA) and has SRS WOW sound effects to further customise the aural experience.

wow , what a fantastic buy. if your thinking about buying this dont think buy ! I can not recomend this highly enough . i have just received this as a christmas gift and i have listened to it ever since , coupled with my bose headphones ( even without them ) the sound quality is absolutely amazing im hearing things i have never heard before on my music . the video quality and overall quality of this beast is top notch . the screen and video playback is pin sharp . there are so many different music settings to choose from you can not fail to get fantastic sound quality on every range of music you have , the only slight thing was when transfering my music from windows media , my music did not store into the music setting but into extra,s but after a short while this was quickly solved by clicking sort library which puts your music where you want it.
once again this really is top notch , sound quality has got to be heard to be believed . FANTASTIC
