This LG model is a HD Ready 32 LCD TV with built in Digital Freeview which means you get to all the benefits of the free digital channels, current and future. As the LG 32LG3000 is HD-Ready you can connect up to your Sony PlayStation, Blu-ray DVD player, Sky HD box (or pretty much any other high-definition input device) in seconds. Another plus – the massive viewing angle – 176°.
The LG 32LG3000 has a number of viewing enhancements such as the Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 15000:1 (to you and me, this means vibrant colours and a range of deep blacks). The resolution of 1366 x 768 means the screen can deliver a truly fantastic quality picture and bright images at 500cd/m². A new technology on this LG LCD is Eye Care (anti-dazzle) – this lets the TV control the quantity of light output from the TV screen. Light emanating from the television is decreased to stop you getting tired eyes if watching the TV for long periods.
There’s also the Clear Voice function built into the LG 32G3000 which is designed to eliminate background noise. This reduces the distortion of the human voice which can occur with films and programmes with high level of background sound. All input source (RF/AVComponent/HDMI), as well as Stereo and Mono broadcasts, can be monitored and controlled by Clear Voice.
The LG 32LG3000 has a Nicam stereo audio system with the sound effects being produced by SRS TruSurround XT. It has an invisible speaker system that enhances the sound effect than other traditional side or bottom speaker designs. The new invisible speaker systme is located in and around the front bezel so sit back – sit back, relax and enjoy deeper, richer sounds.
Other features of the LG 32LG3000 are parental control and child lock, on screen menu, channel labelling, electronic programme guide, and teletext with a 1000 page memory.
