About Oddbins
Oddbins has existed as a business since 1963 when Ahmed Pochee set up his small business delivering bin-ends and wine oddments to the restaurants and clubs of West End London. In the Seventies Oddbins was bought by Dennis Ing and Nick Baile who gave consumers the chance to buy wine imported from Spain and Southern France.

In the Eighties, Oddbins, now owned by Seagram became the first company to bring Australian wine and to the UK high street. Oddbins is awarded Wine Merchant of the Year at the International Wine Challenge for the first time in 1988, the first of 12 such awards.
